It’s August 1st and also a full moon.
Time to Release. Reset. Revamp.
The first of the month is always a chance to refresh. As the old superstition goes, say “Rabbit Rabbit” before anything else on the first day of the month to bring you good luck for 30 days!
Full moons invite us to slow down…to sit back, examine, and re-evaluate things.
It is a time where where we are asked to reflect on our understanding of how we fit into our relationships in the world, including ourselves. Who are we and what do we want?
How are we nurturing our everyday relationships with ourselves and those around us?
This includes both external forces and internal ones.
It is a time to reflect on how we speak out loud vs. how we speak to ourselves with our internal dialogue.
But to first listen, we must learn to sit still. To sit still, we must first learn to move our bodies; tune in to tune out.
Short & sweet: a 20min flow
I wanted to start my youtube videos with short, but effective practices, to give one an opportunity to explore, retain, practice, and get to know. So this Tuesday’s practice is a brief 20mins of re-connecting your breath, body, & mind. While we practice, we are connecting to this immense Divine energy that we all hold within ourselves.
Tapping into the inner knowledge we already have…within EVERY cell of our body.
Because WE ARE the Divine light. We just have to learn to listen.
How do we do that exactly? Yoga is a great place to start!
